Position Summary

Our client is a global leader in Electronic Manufacturing in the ODM / Original Design Manufacturing space. We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Engineer to join the Technical Engineering Department. This role focuses on developing automation scripts, managing Linux and Windows system environments, and supporting cross-functional engineering projects. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts for system operations and testing.
  • Configure, monitor, and optimize Linux and Windows system environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support technical engineering initiatives and project execution.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to ensure system stability and minimal downtime.
  • Document processes, develop technical reports, and provide technical guidance to team members.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities to enhance system reliability, performance, and efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Up to 7 years of relevant experience in technical engineering, system administration, or related roles.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Python programming.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems.
  • Experience in script file development for automation, including creating, modifying, and maintaining automation scripts to streamline operations.
  • Permanent eligibility to work in the United States
